Seven Burkinabe artists and one french artist are brought together by Denis Detournay around a dance-music-theatre and voice work, to address a problem which is at the centre of daily and spiritual life of billions of human being: water.

Taking the shape of a live tale, Koom Kalao engages us in a search for direction, a quest at the heart of being human. Because water is the ultimate link of desires and passions. Between rite and performance, there is only one step. A step which is a gesture towards making it possible to refocus the problem and invite a communion of reflections and thoughts.
